Ford Cortina MkI, Taylor / Melia - Rally Monte Carlo 1963

This Minichamps 1/43 scale model is of the Ford Cortina MkI in which Henry Taylor and Brian Melia achieved 6th place in ts first proper rally, the 1963 Rally Monte Carlo.

Made from diecast metal with other material parts it measures approximately 10cm (4 inches) in length.

Presented on a black plastic plinth under a clear acrylic top and within a cardboard window display box, the model can easily be removed from its plinth with the aid of a cross head screwdriver.  Please note, Brian Melia's name is mis-spelt on the box and plinth.

OUR OPINION:  Minichamps are the market leaders when it comes to 1/43 scale cars and it is easy to see why.  Their attention to detail and finish is first class with nice sharp castings, good quality materials that look realistic and excellent paint and decal finishes.  Prices are very competitive too and definitely worth every penny.
