This IXO 1/12 scale model is of the Camel Team Yamaha YZR-M1 raced by Valentino Rossi in the 2006 MotoGP season.
Made from diecast metal with plastic and other material parts it measures approximately 16cm (6.5 inches) in length and features working rear suspension.
Presented in a cardboard box with a hinged front flap, the model comes complete with its own paddock stand to keep the bike upright when on display.
OUR OPINION: These 1/12 scale bike models from IXO are bound to be compared to those from Minichamps, being of the same scale. However, that would not be fair given that the IXO models are almost half the price of many of the Minichamps bike models. With the lower price comes the use of more plastic parts though, including the non-removable fairing, but overall these IXO models still have a good level of detail and finish and all at a fraction of the prices of the competition.
