This Schuco 1/43 scale model is of the Volkswagen T1 bus used by Lufthansa.
Made from diecast metal with other material parts it measures approximately 10cm (4 inches) in length and comes complete with two air hostess figurines (not shown in pictures).
Presented on a black plastic plinth under a clear acrylic top and within a cardboard window display box, the model can easily be removed from its base with the aid of a cross head screwdriver.
OUR OPINION:Schuco seem to have their own little niche in the market, making new models which look like they have been built in the old fashioned way.Their 1/43 models are not quite as extreme as some of the others in this approach, although they can still appear a bit dated, but it is all part of their character.Their build quality is actually very good and provided you are prepared to accept these models for what they are, you will not be disappointed.
