This Minichamps 1/18 scale model is of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes MP4-22 raced by Lewis Hamilton in his first F1 season, 2007.
Made from diecast metal with other material parts it measures approximately 23cm (9 inches) in length and features steerable wheels.
Presented on a black plastic plinth within a cardboard and perspex window display box, the model can easily be removed from its plinth with the aid of a cross head screwdriver.
OUR OPINION: There are not many choices when it comes to 1/18 scale F1 cars and of those the Minichamps models stand out for being the best quality for the money. Their attention to detail and finish is first class with nice sharp castings, good quality materials and excellent paint and decal finishes. It is just a shame that their range is getting smaller. |
