This Brumm 1/43 scale model is of the Vanwall raced by Stirling Moss and Tony Brooks in the 1957 British Grand Prix.
Made from diecast metal with other material parts it measures approximately 9.5cm (3.75 inches) in length.
Presented on a black plastic plinth under a clear acrylic top and within a cardboard window display box, the model can easily removed from its plinth with the aid of a cross head screwdriver.
OUR OPINION: Brumm are proud to manufacture all their models in Italy, but the standard of finish and detail is not quite on a par with some of the Chinese built models, particularly the interiors and the cases which can be a bit brittle. However, comparing Brumm with models costing at least twice as much is really not a fair comparison and when you consider the price, nothing else even comes close. Plus, the range of classic cars Brumm produce in 1/43 scale is second to none. |
