This IXO 1/43 scale model is of the Maserati Gransport Trofeo raced by Jean-Claude Andruet and Philippe Liechti in the 2006 Maserati Trofeo Audemars Piguet Championship.
Made from diecast metal with other material parts it measures approximately 11cm (4.25 inches) in length.
Presented on a black plastic plinth under a clear acrylic top and within a cardboard window display box, the model can easily removed from its plinth with the aid of an IXO models screwdriver (available separately).
OUR OPINION: IXO are one of the leading manufacturers of 1/43 scale cars. They may not be quite as good as the best selling Minichamps range, but they come close. The overall quality and detail is very good, but some models can be let down on small plastic parts not being fine enough and bodywork paint finishes being slightly on the thick side. Overall though, excellent value for money. |
